When It's Too Hot for the Pool

Today is supposed to be around 100 degrees which is hot. Very, very HOT. We are pool rats in the summer. We go nearly every day to the city pools which is a great way to enjoy these busy summer days. However, some days just seem TOO hot to even go to the pool. It's a matter of getting in the van, dragging all of our stuff, and getting there. The actual pool water isn't even cold on days like today.
So I'm undecided as to whether or not we will go today. My house is a mess. Perhaps I will focus on that.

Just once did I ever go into a pool that was too warm to be refreshing!! I still say... go and have fun... the house will keep!

we did end up going on friday for just an hour. it was refreshing. we did NOT go yesterday however. mostly because i was TRYING to be productive. (then we went out for ice cream)

Yes, it is too hot in so many places. We will just stay put on these hot days.

Go when it cools off a bit. I plan to go to the lake in the evening this weekend when it is cooler, but not until the sun is going down. Even though today isn't bad heatwise I was gone most of the day yesterday and have things to catch up on. This weekend it will be closer to 100.

Yeah some days get unbearable to be outside for any reason. I wish we had a pool nearby but we don't. =(

@jillybean1222 I find that if I go in water when it is warm it makes me feel even warmer. It's not at all refreshing.

I love being around the water and swimming and surprisingly I havent even been once yet which is not like me at all but today I think would be too hot plus too crowded. Im working on things around the apartment this afternoon before my daughters birthday part.
