The Trees Are Gone

Finally, the trees removal is done and all paid for. The 3 guys who worked on the project were working under extreme heat. I felt really bad for them. I should have waited for a cooler period of the year. But now it is all paid for and the job was done to my satisfaction and I am quite happy. I will probably have more work for them in the Fall or early Spring. Now, waiting for the A/C guy to show up as there is something not right today with it.

If you had not given them work to do, the tree guys would have probably been working somewhere else.

True enough, but still I feel a little bit guilty.

But I do sympathize with anyone out working in this heat.

@GardenGerty I only go a few minutes at a time and feel like passing out, so I wonder how the workers can take it.

they would be doing similar work somewhere else, I mean I feel bad for them too, but if no one wanted that work during the summer, how would they make enough to live?

The owner of the firm told me that the has been doing this job for 30 years, so I guess he is used to it, still it was a very, very hot day.

I am sure they are not complaining to much about the heat. Have to take work while you can get it. I do hope they get your AC fixed. As my sister like to say "always something."

That must be a relief to you to have the job finished and done with. I expect there's more light in your garden now.

Anyway, this part of work is already done to your satisfaction. As a worker, he usually does not care much about the weather, cold or hot. It is how people make their earnings, the same way like all of us do in our work to my understanding. You see, on soma heavy rainy days, we still have to go to the office to work though we hope not to in this kind of weather, but we are required to. To work and to have something to do is a pleasure. Take care.

I don't see how these guys working outside make it in the heat. I heard this morning of a young man dying at ball practice from the heat.

I'm considering whether summer or winter, the guys are responsible for work so that they can get paid from hard Working.

I wonder if they have more spare time during the summer months to do stuff like this? You might not have been able to get them later in the year??

@maarlina I'm glad the tree people finished their job. I really hate to hear that the air conditioner is on the blink.
