Do you have a special person when you need to lay on his arm and just seek advice? Who is that, your mother/father your boyfriend/girlfriend or maybe your friends?
I often expose myself to my friends. But most of the things when i'm sad i keep to myself i think me myself would best understand it.

@velvet53 Yes sometimes i really feel like people should be inside me for a second, in that case we'd understand each other more easily.

Yes i also often expose myself to my online friends forgot to said that. Because sometimes an online friend will understand you more than a real life friend. Meditating? Wow that's nice if it works up for you!

I rarely ask anyone for advice, it's not something that comes naturally to me. On the few occasions I do it's the friend I've known for over a decade now. She doesn't actually help, but she makes me feel better about whatever problem I went to her with :')

Well depends, who doesn't like getting cheered up, but i prefer actually getting an advice that will help me out, instead of good cheering words

@supervalon Advice is helpful, certainly, but my friend and I currently have very different situations. When she does offer advice it's often ill-informed simply because she's seeing it from HER situation rather than mine. It's not bad advice, just not hugely helpful to me. It does give me an excuse to catch up with her and have a good talk to clear my mind and help me look at the situation clearly :)

@supervalon I think a good place to seek advice would be at myLot as there are many experienced, knowledgeable and kind folks who are willing to help. However, you probably need to explain your problem well in order to get useful advice.

I go to three persons...me, myself, and I! Sounds narcissistic doesn't it? Mostly people can't solve what I have so I don't tell them my problems to seeks advice. It's mostly me who finds the solution anyway. I just talk to friends to pour out emotions, just to share, but they know i'm not asking for an advice.
When it comes to company problems, of course I would call a board meeting for that and the rest of the board members (including me) would be brainstorming of what's the best thing to do.

@supervalon lol the same. I talk to friends but i don't ask advice especially for personal life problems. It's just something that I believe I should be doing myself since it involves me and not other people.

I don't seek advice from others. I solve my problems on my own. Others have their own problems to settle. I don't want my problems to give additional stress to my family. Besides, I won't listen to others anyway. Better if I keep my own problems and think of solutions at the soonest.

So you actually think for others too, that's very sweet. Don't want your problems to overtake other people and stress them out. Aw you really deserve to be heard out sweetie

I didn't mean that, but nevermind. It's good taking a fresh air, it reduces your stress and your problems.

I typically seek advice from my mother, friends, & boyfriend. I used to get advice from Xanga advice columns and sometimes that would be an unbiased opinion that was of value. I haven't been on there in awhile but I'm sure you can find people offering advice online if you'd like a different perspective than you are used to getting.
