Not Yet Her Time

I posted here about my daughter's first job application. She was applying for flight attendant. There were more than 300 applicants. She passed the first, second and third interview. She reached the final interview, but didn't make it. She said she answered the questions well, and she wondered why she didn't get the job.
Anyway, it's her first ever job application and she's still lucky for being one of the few who reached the final interview. Unlike many of the applicants who failed on the first screening. I told her not to be discouraged and always think positive. She's only 20 years old and there's a lot of better opportunities to come her way.

@Macarrosel Please convince her to apply to other airlines . Because once she have the experience she can very well re-apply to the one she most wanted . She has the beauty and the brains , so she will surely be hired as a flight stewardess .

@SIMPLYD That's what I told her and she said she will apply but not for now. Today, she is preparing application letters for banks in our area. She requested me to edit them.

She was wondering too why she failed. But for me, it's an experience and a milestone for reaching that far. Yes, I convince her to apply for other airlines, although she is hesitant already.

So close and yet so far. How many applicants were given the final interview? She should be proud of coming that close.

@Macarrosel One of five out of three hundred is exceptional. In that regard she made no mistakes. She almost beat the odds the way things were.

@Macarrosel Like the story of Robert the Bruce and the Spider. If at first you don't succeed - try, try again.

I'm sure God has something better for your daughter. Let not this temporary setback discourage her. I hope she can try with PAL which I think is a better opportunity for her than CebuPac.

The good thing about it is that she now has an idea on how job interviews are conducted. It was a wonderful experience for her. Still, I'm glad she made it on her first 3 interviews.
