And it started to rain. Should I go back to the Caribbean?

Here I am. mylotting in peace, with the heater on in full. Gone is the awesome weather of St. Maarten.
Then, first came the wind. I was not really paying attention, but I thought that with a little wind tomottow, my clothes would get dry in spite of the cold.
Yet, some 15 minutes later, the rain started. And it is not a small rain. It´s a rain that won´t let me sleep.
It´s the cold winter rain we have in this part of the world. Ok. So I will start to place coins in my piggybanks again.

@marguicha I love rain and even thunder storms but one does need their sleep.

I mind less rain than the cold. And you are right about the desert. We have the dryest desert in the planet in our country yet when it snows, it blooms.

@marguicha I am aware that Chile is also a country of lots of different weather and in the north it is much warmer than in the south.

When I was young I went there for the first time with my husband and thought I´d love to have a job there and stay.

you can't stand the cold anymore, right? so how long do you think it will take to fill those piggybanks so you can be in the sand and sea again?

I cannot think about vacations until maybe next year. Or 2 years from now. We shall see.

I still hope you were able to go to sleep despite the heavy rain.

I just hung the whites, but I put plastic over my terrace so the won´t get wet if it starts to rain again.

@marguicha Is there a particular reason why you wouldn't want the terrace wet?
