Do you like gardening?

My little girl in the garden

I went to the park with my children this morning, and on our way home, I saw a neighbor doing gardening work in her front yard, so I just went and said Hi. She gave me a few stems of vegetables and flowers that I can just grow them easily. I have always been thinking of growing some plants in my garden, so now it's a good time for me to do so. Do you like gardening? What plants are you growing? Image: This is a picture I took last year when my first sunflower was growing. It's my little girl who was talking to the sunflower and the plants.

When I was young I enjoyed gardening. Had both a vegetable and herb gardens. I enjoyed having fresh herbs just outside the back door off the kitchen. I love having greenery around. Love to watch it all grow too.

That's good. I am planning to grow cherry tomatoes and tomatoes too. My little girl likes to eat tomatoes and she asked me to do so. I have never plant lettuce before. I wonder if I can plant them here.

@kaka135 As long as they aren't under direct sunlight, I think they will grow. Although I'm no expert, heehee. I also like spring onions but they only grow in the cold season.

Yes, I like gardening. If you have a hous, you really have to plant something. Otherwise it will be a big waste Here even some people will grow the vegetables or fruits in the balcony.

Yes, I am blessed to have the yard, though it's not very big, it's enough for us to grow a few vegetables for food and some flowers to admire too. Moreover, it's a good activities for the kids too - good exercise and good lesson to learn.

I can understand that. I am staying in tropical country where almost everyday is hot. That's why sometimes I feel so lazy to go out and do the gardening work, especially when it's very hot.

Thanks. She was three years old in the picture. I have read that we can actually use limited space for gardening too, even indoor. You can check out for that.

Haven't tried it. We don't have a garden at the place where I live though I would love to try planting some veggies.

I have read some ideas that we can plant some vegetables indoor easily. You can check them out online or even in YouTube. It's really nice to grow our own food.
