Grateful For The Rain

Early this morning, we had heavy rain. We are so thankful for it as we needed it so badly. Everything was dried, too dangerous for forest fires.
We also had some thunder and lightning but not too bad around here where we live.
Now, it looks cloudy but I don' think that we will get more rain this morning. It is also a tiny bit cooler.
Enjoy the day!

Ship some of that Canadian down to thirsty Southern California.

I'd love to get one whole day of rain @marlina but those events are rare here, I think the last time we got that much rain was back in 2006 when our county broke all rainfall records in recorded history, we actually had a lot of damaging flash floods.

Oh, how we could use that rain here. Two fires and it is very dry with low humidity. I do love a nice thunder and lightning storm.

@marlina .....We are supposed to have some in a few days. But, with it come some thunder and that is dangerous right now. Low humidity and dry all over. Don't really want any more fires.

We didn't get a drop yesterday, but south of us got 2 - 3 inches. We are almost 11 inches below normal and just heading into the month that usually has the least amount of rain.

We've had a bit of rain...enough to drive the humidity way up, of course. It's cloudy now and I hope my laundry dries on the line before it might rain.
