Am I the only one disturbed by the fact that 50 million+ people in the USA own firearms? Does it bother you that the richest politician wins? A man in NYC 'buys' the mayorship. Here in Florida a man running for governor was ahead in the polls because he has enough money to start ads 3 weeks before his opponent. Something is wrong--I thought congress was working on election reform--what happened. Am I the only one who keeps a list of 'future' things to discuss--one liners to expand upon? By accident I found out that 2 of my books are being sold on Amazon.com at new and used prices--and good prices at that--check it out--just search by author--Martin D. Goodkin. (I'd buy one of the used ones but I would hate to find out it was a copy I gave someone! ;o) Interesting fact--Peggy Giordano, a professor of sociology, did study that concludes MALE TEENS are the biggest romantics around! (I certainly was and am!) I have to show AJ that he is not the only reader here and start reviewing the books I have read recently. :o) Yesterday JJJJake wrote a discussion about how he wants to die--I have a similar idea I want to post about "How and When I will die"--and, no, neither Jake's or mine is a downer. Okay, I am off to get a ultra sound on my leg--22 days later and they still don't know what's wrong!!

yes most of the things you mention do bother me an American as rarely do the people actually get to vote on the people that they feel should win

@GreatMartin I know a lot of people have told me they would not vote. that's 'so absurd I vote on an absentee ballot as I'm physically handicapped and hard for me to get to the polls.but I vote its' my right and privilege

@Hatley And most of those who don't vote will complain the loudest no matter who wins!

Because most are too lazy to get to the polls or even send in an absentee ballad--only a small percentage of eligible voters actually vote!

I hope the ultra sound test will tell you the problem with your leg.
