"Your access to this site has been limited"- a frustrating situation

Last year I joined a site called Blogjob where I published about 20 articles in the hope that it would last for a long time, but I was barely halfway on my road to redemption when the site discontinued its earning program. However, the truly unpleasant part of my short lived Blogjob experience lies in the fact that since the month of May I can no longer have access to my account and delete my articles so I could publish some of them, which I consider to be more interesting, elsewhere. Whenever I try to log in to my Blogjob account I am informed that access from my area has been temporarily limited for security reasons, but as far as I see on forums Blogjob is still working, even if it's not paying, and users from other countries can log in there. I tried to publish one of my Blogjob articles on another site called Literacybase, but it was rejected because it didn't pass the plagiarism check, so it is clear that my BJ articles are still on the site, but I can't view them from my country! This is really absurd and frustrating for me and I definitely regret the decision to join Blogjob as I don't know how to regain access to my account and delete my posts. Therefore I am asking: Have you also gone through a really disappointing experience with a site in which you had high hopes?

I usually use VPN to avoid such situations.

Have you contacted Sheridan? He will help you out. He is one of the most genuine and sincere admins around.

No, I haven't, and since my access to the site is impossible, I don't know how to contact him.

@swalia Thanks for the advice; fortunately, thanks to @skysnap I have tried Zenmate and it worked, so after more than two months I finally have access to my Blogjob account again! I guess this is the most useful discussion I have ever started on myLot!

@polaris77 may be you can ask some friend of yours who is on blogjob to write to Sheridan on your behalf! There are many blogjob users at LB too.

That is not right that they did that to you. But it does happen.

Yes, it does happen, unfortunately, but thanks to a mylotter who answered in this discussion I managed to log in to my Blogjob account using a VPN and deleted most of my articles from that site, so my Blogjob adventure is over and it's time to focus on other sites, such as myLot, which treat users from all over the world equally.

Many of us have had frustrating experiences with different sites. That is one of the sites I did not join.. Yippie! Several people have mentioned other sites too where they could no longer get to their posts. No clue what the sites are thinking when they do that.

You were indeed inspired not to join that site! In the meantime I managed to get access to it thanks to using that VPN and I deleted most of my articles there. Some of them are still relevant today, so I will probably publish them elsewhere now that they are no longer on BJ.

That would be frustrating. I have written for a few sites over the years, and I just leave my posts there, and move on, writing something new elsewhere. I have posts existing on lots of places, and I never bothered deleting any of them after the site seemed to stop paying, or closed down. Wikinut was one such site where I have over 500 articles there. They simply stopped paying any revenue at all, but they still accept writing submissions there.
