That's no thirty nine minute tear eyed speech!

At least I thought that was promised by the President's communication staff when they said that it's not going to take long. It seemed that this was the first time a President didn't follow his own script and starts explaining every goal in his speech. Which later I didn't realize it's lunch and we had to stop watching. People were happy with his first SONA, though It was still a bit lacking. Earlier protesters who weren't protesting him the first time, said he lack plans for macro-economic goals as private-public partnerships didn't work during the last Administration. What's even annoying is that hours later, CNN only showed increase of vigilantism under his Presidency, not to mention young turks also focused only on this. In my impression, I think the west literally didn't like a working President that's also criticizing the US, but that's another story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hldiOsIt05Q

It's interesting to get a look at politics in other places. I think they're all the same, when you get down to it.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I can understand the problem, but it's hard to know what is right sometimes

Didn't bother watching the SONA. I just plan on watching it online and reading a summary of what the President said.

I don't know what made us watch it @allen0187 but I maybe I got bored that afternoon that I've decided to listened to it. I'll watch last part of it later.

No mention of the continuation of the AFP modernization that PNOY started, how boring but let's give him a chance and more time

There is other president who could fix our dirty and shaky country, except President Duterte.

Our president today is really unique. He has his own original way of doing things.

They liked Pnoy too back in 2010, and just how that quickly changed after three years @cherriefic
