I am just now getting my day started and want to thank everyone for their concern and prayers on my grandson missing. He finally showed up home and was a little surprised to see an officer from the sheriff's department there.
Brayden is 10 years old and knows the rules on checking in when he is out playing. He ended up going into a new friends house and got busy playing. He hadn't checked in for over 5 hours and my son was out looking for him. When Brian got back to the house and said he couldn't find Brayden they called the police then.
He is safe and that is what matters even if he did have everyone scared to pieces. I would of grounded him for about a month but I don't know what his mother plans to do outside of the talk her and the officer gave Brayden.

@crazyhorseladycx That is the sad part of things. They think they are tougher than lead and that nothing will happen to them.

Oh my grandkids have made friends in the neighborhood. It seemed to take us forever to get through their heads that if they say they are going to one house and then don't that they must come home first to tell us before they go off to someone else's house.

What a scare! I would have grounded him too. But nowadays things are different.
