Back From Gardening

@marlina I hope you get to go out there again later today, after it cools down.

It's a shame it got too hot. At least you were able to do some gardening.

I think I am going to run errands. I was indoors at my sister's house, as it was horribly hot there. But where I live it is much milder and I can "go outside and play". I do my gardening on Sundays, as there is very little to be done. Enjoy your time inside.

I'm sorry the time out didn't last very long. Just a few more weeks of summer and then fall begins and cooler temps. I hope you had a good dinner at your son's tonight.

That maroon plant is familiar. We also have that here. I think , that one in your picture and this one in mine belong to one family.

I'm pretty sure that I've mentioned it before, but the green around the colored plant looks just like the Snow on the Mountain that is in our front porch garden area.

I did some landscaping a few weeks ago on a saturday while i was home by myself. I lasted 45 minutes outside in this hot south florida weather. It was brutal but the weeding needed to get done as my front flower beds were looking awfull and i needed to get attention to them. Its so hot to stay out longer then that to get everything done. Very hard to do it, but at least you are attempting to do that. When i was done with that i actually came in side and started doing other things around the inside of my house. I usually never stop as i am a hyper person always trying to get the most i can in a days worth.

Gardening is so relaxing!

It got hot pretty early here as well. I took a shower after the mile walk home today after dropping my van off at the garage.

Yeah it's been really hot and humid here all week also. Can't do anything outdoors until later at night when it cools down.
