A friend gave me a small juicer and I never thought I would get much use out of it. I was sure wrong. I am making all kinds of healthy drinks that I normally wouldn't of tried. One of my favorites is apples, carrots and celery mixed. It probably doesn't sound good to some people but I like it. I love to make different fruit juices and am always looking for new ideas.

Does your juicer use electricity . We have a juicer and a blender at home but we rarely use them because the cost of electricity is expensive so it will surely increase our bill .

Yes, it does. I am with you on the electricity but I cut back on other things that use electricity and that helps.

@SIMPLYD Oh, I like my fruit also. In fact I was lucky and got some fresh apricots a couple of weeks ago.

@velvet53 We bought the Champion juicer cause a health food store was using one to crank out peanut butter. We toast peanuts in the oven for a bit then cool them and in the juicer hopper they go.

I really want a juicer! You can really experiment with an item like that. What other blends have you tried?

I am glad that she gave it to me. I like tomatoes, onions, peppers and a little tomato juice. Bananas, cherries and oranges are good also.

@velvet53 Have you thought about bottling your juicy concoctions and giving them to friends and family? Or even selling them? Homemade juice is very in right now. :)

I'd totally drink that. I love my juicer too but hate to clean it. It's amazing how many vegetables it takes to make one glass of juice!

It is. I didn't realize that I needed to buy as many veggies as I do. But it won't be long and the garden will be helping me out.
