Breaking Out of Your Comfort Zone

Have you been stuck in the rut of your comfort zone for too long? I have compiled the following tips to help you get out of it!  1. Try something new - go to a local community centre and see what classes they offer. Find one that interests you and go check it out! Go to dinner at a restaurant you've never tried before. As my 10 year old nephew says, "Try it, try it! You might like it!"  2. Embrace your flaws - don't be afraid to show off. Feel good about yourself from the inside out. Be confident and learn to love yourself and this will come easier.  3. Don't hold back - say what you want to say. Try your best not to care what people think about it, but also be sure not to cause harm to anyone in the process. You can express yourself and your opinions without hurting others.  4. Take a risk - I'm not talking about jumping off a bridge, either. Nothing silly like that. When I say take a risk I mean do something that you may have been nervous to do before, or call a friend you haven't spoken to in years. It's all about stepping out of your comfort zone.  (Photo free for public use from Pixabay.com)

Its not easy to break out of the comfort zone. In fact a lot harder for some people.

I completely understand that. I actually wrote this partly for myself LoL. I deal with anxiety, depression and social phobia. I have to force myself to break out of my comfort zone a lot.

@MissNikki I can relate as I faced all three of them and I live everyday with it.

@MissNikki actually right now I am glad to be back in my comfort zone meaning back at my PC. We had so much work to do in our garden that I couldn't find the time to get online and at night when work is done I was tired so went right to bed. Now I am glad to be back online and have a lot of catching up to do but I am back in my comfort zone and for now this makes me happy.

Great advice. I was reading a book earlier this year, haven't had a chance to finish it yet but it's called "Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway!" Pretty good with what I read so far. Helpful too.
