I read about Deodorants sold in the market as dangerous for long term use because it usually becomes the cause for having Breast Cancer for women. So I tried researching on other Alternatives for Natural Deodorant and the first thing I found is Baking Soda. So, I tried using Baking Soda for 2 weeks but i think my skin is sensitive because I end up having Black underarms which is not common when using Baking Soda so what I did is tried finding another Alternative for Natural Deodorant and I found Lemon.
Now, here's the thing..if you don't have Lemon or Lemon is not commonly used in your country like Philippines you can actually use Calamansi. Now, if what you have in your country is Lime, then you can use Lime as substitute for Lemon...as long as it belongs to the family of Citrus.
Going back...I replaced my Baking Soda with Calamansi by rubbing it on my armpits after bathing while its still wet and just wait for it to dry up, its actually sticky at first but once your armpit absorbs it its no longer sticky because it dries up.
For me, Lemon is so much better because after using it for a week it whitened my armpits and there's completely no smell.
Lemon is so much better than Baking Soda for me.

I've heard this about lime - and I've tried it! It seems to work well, but you don't want to use it on freshly shaven skin. And I hear it can bleach out your clothes (lemon too as it is acidic), so be careful with that too! I use a mineral salt crystal deodorant otherwise.

Have used baking soda, it works sort of. Never heard of using lemon. Do you use lemon juice or the actual fruit?

Haven't tried any of them yet. I love using talcum and don't want to try any other thing.
