I am trying to quit smoking again so I got some Nicorette lozenges. ICK! They are beyond being nasty. I sucked on it for awhile then started feeling sick to my stomach and my heart was beating faster. What an experience. Needless to say, they went to the trash. I felt fine before I sucked on that blasted thing.

@velvet53 You have to start somewhere, cutting down a little at a time is good, though I've never smoked, but know many who have.

iMy son wanted them so I gave them to him but I did tell him what happened with me. Maybe they won't affect him like they did me. Yes, I have to quit before it is too late. I haven't smoked that much today and that is a start.

perhaps the patches'd be better fer ya? i dunno, my doc's always tryin' to push'em 'n me 'n swears they're free. 'course, i tell him that if'n him'n that team'f doc's 'd figure a way to fix me, to where i could be out doin' my thing, i'd quit. 'til then i cannot afford the bail money :) i tried that gum, years back. dunno if'n 'twas i smoked lights 'n such 'twas too strong, but made me purty ill also. best'f luck with yer quittin', hon! i need to stop bein' childish'n do such myself...e'en though i switched to herbal smokes (son swears i've been smokin' pot, lol) , 'tis jest 'nother nasty habit i don't need.

I am going to get some patches. Love your remark about the bail money. I am going to check into the herbal smokes. I have never heard of them before.
