Do you believe that Vegetables can extend your life?

Hello everyone nowadays there are people who are 100+ years old.. and they mostly mentioned that they only eat vegetables that help them to extend their life for another years..
Do you believe that it is because of Vegetable? or there are other reason why they're still even if they're already more than 100 years old?

I guess its true but it should be fruits and vegetable because their plants and their are healthy. They live longer too because they manage stress well.

It could be one of the factors; there could be other factors why they reached that age.

I believe there are combination of factors that helps people to live longer. For example environment in which they lived matters. A pollution free env obviously helps in strengthening your immunity systems and thus helps to live longer. At the same overall lifestyle - active vs passive lifestyle. Also gene has an influence I believe.
