I was never a game player because I always thought that it was quite a waste of time because I always have something else to do. I think the Pokemon Go game has reached many countries before and it caused many problems already. I think it is interrupting my city : Hong Kong right now. I didn't know anything about this game until I watch news in this few days and also when I was jogging inside a park during the night time. The park used to be a quite place for jogging but it wasn't in few days ago. There were suddenly many youth shown up in groups and all were busy with their mobile phone. the groups were blocking some of my run way and gave me a hard time to finished my jogging. I think people are just too crazy about this game right now that even the chief of the police has already ordered the police to keep an eyes for wherever a large groups will show up in the city. That's the situation of Hong Kong right at the moment and what about yours ? Share with us about your opinion towards this game or those addicted to TV games or computer games ?

I agree with Lady_Justice and would like to add that most games are addictive because of the strategy behind them or reflex inclined to outplay others. Just like some people play Pokemon Go, there is a huge competitive scene in gaming for League of Legends, Dota, Call of Duty, Vainglory and others to name a few. Teams of 4 or 5 with a coach are formed even with some of these games it gets serious with the top prize pools ranging in the millions 25 million dollar prize pool to be exact. But the point I'm just trying to make is it is big online and growing every year.

I am not interested in Pokemon Go, but I do like video games. Many of them are created with psychological aspects intended to keep people playing and coming back. In other words, they are intended to be (at least somewhat) addictive.
