Did you know that crying has health benefits? According to Science. "Crying activates the body in a healthy way."
It relieves stress while you are on your high emotions. It also helps you to produce manganese, which helps to manage your moods.
Crying also activates the parasympathetic nervous system and restores the body to a state of balance.
So when after you cry. You feel a lot better and more comfortable about yourself.
Now we have all the reasons to cry. We will not be a shame to cry for the heartbreak that we shed, but also for one good reason, it helps us to alleviate stress.

I rarely cry but at times I'm heading that way when I see or hear something very sad but I am usually able to control it.

@JustBhem Right, the body was designed to cry over sad things and happy things. It is interesting that the Bible mentions Jesus crying.

I do cry...but I am a fighter...is there something I can do about it...what needs to be done about this situation...That is the way my thinking goes. So after having shed a few of my precious tears, I tell me, hey, I am more intelligent than that ...I need to show the world a way out of this situation and I get down to business. lol.

Cool. Being stronger doesn't mean we need not to cry. I've been through a lot and being strong is the best way I can, but I still cry. I cry a lot whenever I feel alone and lonely, being forgotten or forsaken, I cry when I read a sad story or watch a sad movies.

@JustBhem That was some cool information. I knew that crying can help us feel more relieved but you explained it in more detail as to what happens when we cry. Interesting!
I can go through phases where I cry a lot and very easily over little things. Even though it's normal to cry, especially when not feeling good, I try hard to hide it.

Even the greatest man, Jesus cried - he felt sympathy for his friends who had lost their brother- and still he was able to do something for the brother. Jesus woke up his friend Lazarus!

Interesting information. Crying is only one way to release stress and it is really necessary in some situations. It is already a long time ago since I cried, so long that I just cannot remember when it was. It depends of each own lifes' situation you can use one or another method to release your stress.

I don't usually think of crying as a weakness... but I cry about EVERYTHING. When I'm angry, sad, even when something has touched my heart. I can't watch Grey's Anatomy with my roommates because I BAWL. How embarrassing is it that I start to cry when I'm watching The VOICE! with my mom because other peoples dreams are being crushed? SUPER embarrassing lol I've always wanted to be a vet but i didn't follow through on that because I knew I would cry too much hahaha It's annoying and embarrassing but I do always feel better after a good cry :)
