Standing out in the crowd

I recently went to an amusement park which is always great for people watching. something that really bothered me involved a situation with an individual who was quite overweight and was wearing the type of clothing to show off every inch of the extra weight. What really affected me was when i saw some other guests who pointed at this person and were clearly laughing while pointing out an appearance they probably considered humorous. The really sad part was that the person saw them laughing and I could tell feelings were hurt. I am wondering who among the myLot users may have ever been in that situation where they were pointed at and laughed at by strangers and how that affected them - I guess I am a bit of a bleeding heart but I sure wish things like that didn't happen.

Some people don't think about other people's feelings. Making fun of a person is cruel and heartless. Some day maybe someone will be making fun of the people at the amusement park.
