Trust. Big word! Is it really hard to trust someone or something?
Trust is something we give whether we have tested a person or not. We do not have a choice but to give it away. But when somebody proves us otherwise, trust is something hard to recover. You may forgive and then forget but there will always be a shadow of doubt anyway.
Without a doubt, relationships begin to falter once trust is broken. Doubts after doubts, fear of being betrayed again clouds over one’s head. However, a lesson is being learned and one must not be taken away by the fear of unable to trust again. Life must move on. Trust can also be a blessing in disguise. A kind of blessing in such a way is a revelation of the truth.

I'm sure it is, but those expectations shouldn't be unrealistic.

Trust is something you want to value and take good care of in every kind of relationship. The moment it is broken, there won't be any relationship to speak of.

If you love the person, can you still trust him/her after it has been broken? Would you give that person one last chance and see if she/he still deserves a second chance? Just a thought.

I have been in a long distance relationship and I totally agree with what you said in here. My boyfriend and I trust each other very much. I was a jealous girlfriend before but upon realizing it will not do any good thing in our relationship, I then started to give my trust to him the way he gives his trust to me.
