A Bit Of A Storm Last Night

We didn't have any rain overnight, but they are calling for a chance of storms during the day today. We'll believe it when we see it, its been a rather dry month.

We haven't had much rain for about 10 days now. We had a shower a couple of days ago, but it didn't do much more than dampen the soil.

No rain here. Hot and dry. Several fires. Not good.

We had potential severe thunderstorm warnings but they all missed us. We're expecting more of the same today. I hope we have one good downpour. It'll save me watering in the garden. Murphy's law says that I will finish watering everything before the chance of rain becomes a reality.

The forecast showed rain about four in the afternoon, although after looking at a weather map I couldn't see where it was coming from. At about three o'clock when it was still quite sunny and a few clouds in the sky, my one employee was joking around wondering which station I'd seen the weather on as it was so nice out still. Hot but nice. Within about half an hour a storm rolled in and we were hard pressed to get storms back onto the outside windows before it hit. I think it only rained for an hour or two and then the sun came back out. It's kept it cooler today.

No rain yesterday but it's pouring right now.

It's been almost a couple weeks since we had any significant rain. Prayers for rain for California and the fires there. We're still in the summer pattern. Hot and muggy. Come on September!!! I am ready to be comfortable again. Have a blessed day

We didn't have some rain showers for the past 2 days. I hope we'll have one tonight.

So true sometimes l too do wish i could send rain some other place.

It has been more than a week that we have not had any rain. It is now extremely hot. The whole day we are having our air-conditioner on in our bedroom for my child to do his homework in a cool atmosphere. I expect to have some heavy rainfalls to cool the air.

It's dry and hot here for several days.Fortunately autumn is coming soon in half a month.Looking forward to golden autumn day.

It seems to rain here everyday in the form of a thunderstorm. It doesn't last long but is sometimes toreential and leaves the air heavy and humid. Not usual weather for these parts but the plants and flowers are happy.

It rained heavily around 6pm and we had some thunderstorm but it lasted only for an hour. Now we are having a gloomy morning.

no doubt they'd 'ppreciate such, hon. so many places needin' that precious rain to fall. we lucked out yesterday finally'n got a bit'f rain. i could e'en hear the cacti gigglin' with glee from such'n event. thus far our 'monsoon season' 's been a bust. i'm hopeful that we'll continue to get a shower here'n there so's the pastures'll green'p 'n the trees'll not suffer so. 'twas cooler 'fter the rains, e'en today the registered temp 'twas a blessin', though the humidity bein' a rare thingy did cause some troubles.

No rain here although I hear that some is coming. I'd love to go and stand out in the rain. It's been so hot and stuffy here that I can't stand it one more second.

I desperately need the rain for my plants. When have had lots of pop up storms but the always just miss me. I water every day but the heat has killed everything.

It did not rain here the past days, but maybe this weekend when there is a weather disturbance according to weathermen.
