I dreamed I overslept

It is going to be another busy day for me. I need to go to my former town, get my sister and take her to an appointment in yet another town. Then I will let her off, come home, change vehicles, and take the truck to another town to a dealership to be looked at, because hubby cannot get off in time to do so. Depending on how long my sister's appointments take, I may be able to be back online in between, but I doubt it. Hubby's alarm goes off at 5 a.m. I wake him up as he cannot hear it. I often lay there just a bit. I did that today. I dreamed it was after 6:30. He leaves about that time. I had not made his smoothie. I want to leave about that early as well. When I actually got out of bed it was only 5:20. What a relief. I at least get to get around on time. Have a good morning, or good evening, or anything in between. I am determined to make it a good day myself.

I dream stuff like this too. I think I've woken up but I've just dreamt that I've woken.

I do not often remember my dreams, so stuff like that takes me by surprise.

I was dreaming of my day too, but it wasn't actually what was in the plan, just something made up by my mind to get me out of bed to the bathroom, I'm thinking. Usually I'm fine getting up in the night, but tonight for whatever reason going to the bathroom became part of my dream, twice. The last time being when my alarm was supposed to go off.

I have incorporated the bathroom into my dream more than once. I think it was when I was extra tired.

@MarshaMusselman I imagine you are a bit concerned about the med prep which is supposed to be the worst part of the whole thing.

@GardenGerty There's no rhyme or reason for me when it happens. When I was younger I thought I really was in the bathroom and let loose. I've learned since then and refuse to give in. The day that happened recently the need wasn't even that strong, so it really surprised me when it happened twice in one night. Maybe it was preparing me for tomorrow when I'll be flushing my system out with water and some meds.

That sounds like a lot of driving around.

Every day is a lot of driving around if I leave the house. There is nothing in this town. I do not mind the driving. Traffic itself is not too bad. Road construction all around however is the pits.

@GardenGerty We have a small supermarket, a pizza place, a chinese resturant, lots of bars, and a Dollar General..and a shoe place just opened. If I want to go to Walmart or any other store I have to drive 35 miles.

I do not have a job or any obligation other than to make sure hubby is up usually. Even if it had been later I would have been on time.

I have pondered this thing I read about, the polite alarm,, it's a watch that vibrates so it doesnt wake both people up. but would it actually work to wake ME up, I wonder.

I doubt it would wake hubby up. I also cannot imagine sleeping with a watch on, or a fitbit, or anything like that.

@Jessicalynnt Watches, and sometimes rings and bracelets make my arms and hands hurt. I think it may be the fibromyalgia.

@GardenGerty I used to sleep with a watch on, didn't bother me, but would it wake me up, hard to say would have to test it with real alarm set as a backup lol

Dreams like that are the worst. I've had a few. I wake up in a panic with the feeling of a rock in my stomach but soon realize it's only a dream. Then comes the rush of relief. To much of a roller coaster for me first thing waking up.

That is not good for us at all. I guess I was worrying in my sleep about being in all the different places.

That's happened to me before. I ended up waking in a total panic.

My worst dream is that the alarm has gone off, when in reality I'm still sleeping and should be enjoying that! Glad that you didn't oversleep today, it sounds like you've a busy day today. Stay cool and have a good day today.

We had a cool front sweep in last night with a storm. Each day seems to have its own promise.
