Have you ever had an "Oh no you/she/he/they didn't" moment?

I have those moments all the time when watching the news. But the "moments" can happen in your own personal life too. Have you ever looked "side-eyed" when someone said or did something that made you inwardly say "Oh noooo she/he/they didn't!"? Happens all the time :D

Made me wonder what people were thinking or what got them there.

@itslikethistome I guess it all goes along with learning something new by making a mistake. I agree with you. Beating ourselves up is not going to make it any better. But we can try to learn.

@Bluedoll Absolutely Bluedoll :D We will all stumble in word in deed as we go through life. Just keep livin' :D (James 3:8-10, Romans 7:15-17)

Lol! Me too. I've even thought that about myself, saying to myself: "Whaaat was I thinking!" Or I've said: "I can't believe I just said that or did that!" We at times will do and say things we regret due to human imperfection so I try not to beat myself up to bad :D

I've had a few. Lol. Sadly, I've been on the receiving end also. This week, a male coworker who loves to kid everyone and make jokes said, "We'll blame Chloe so she'll get fired. Then we can make this a man's club around here." (Yes, he was totally joking; it's not an HR issue.) So I said, "Where are you gonna get the men to fill this club?" I'm usually fairly quiet and serene, so my comeback kinda left him speechless. The rest of my coworkers had the reaction you described. That's not that scandalous. I'm sure other people have juicier ones.

Lol! Thank you for sharing your experience with this thread and thank you for being honest about being on the other end lol! I think we've all been on both sides of the spectrum..... You are quick witted too :D And no that's not that "scandalous", mild to medium.

@itslikethistome I think you're right about all of us being on both ends of the spectrum--well said. Thanks for posting this interesting discussion, it made me think about human nature.
