My and one of my housemate just had a nice little dinner in the kitchen; food, fairy lights, little table, the whole thing. She cooked and I washed up. Just a really nice sit down meal with a friend I won't see for a month come Saturday. Anyone else had a nice meal today?

Ooh, that sounds nice :) Maybe something a bit more substantial for dinner? I hope your blood sugar is okay :)

@Stitch95 I love bananas, but hardly find them suitable for dinner!

If you like bananas, I don't see why it shouldn't!

Your meal sounds sweet and something to cherish. I'm grateful for food on the table so I'll be sure to be pleasant this evening when hubby and I sit to supper.

It was really nice, I eat with friends a lot but we don't actually have sit down meals at a table, so this was something different. Especially since we were the only two home so it was nice and quiet as well since there was no one wandering in and out. I hope you have a lovely supper :)

@sallypup Very true. I'm very far from having any fine china to eat on (£1 plates and cutlery ftw) but we dragged the little picnic table out of the corner to sit down at and just kind of plonked everything down, but it was just a nice atmosphere to eat in for once, instead of just sitting in my room by myself or just sat on the sofa with people.Any idea what you're thinking of eating tonight?

I ate a chicken turnover. I bought some soup and pasta. I'll eat them later.

Oh she's not my partner, I don't (officially) have one of those either, just my housemate. Why not invite a friend over for dinner? :)
