Have you ever had Dole Whip? I've never had the real thing, but I found a recipe to make my own at home and omg it's A-mazing! It's ice cold and delicious and made with only two ingredients. My little blender didn't like the idea at first and then, once it began, it had fun whipping up some dole-licious dessert for me.
I took a can of pineapple chunks (which is about 4 cups of chunks) and a cup of coconut milk or almond milk (I used almond, since I use it a lot, anyway). Freeze the pineapple first and then put them in a blender or food processor until smooth and you have dessert!
Today has been our hottest day yet (and most humid), so it's the perfect evening to sit back and relax with this! I'm happy just wrapping my hands around the bowl! lol

@CRK109 guess I'll have to pick up some pineapple and try it too. Would be a great alternative to my nightly dish of ice cream

@Marilynda1225 It's so refreshing and I've really come to enjoy it. I actually do prefer it to ice cream right now because it's not as heavy.

That sounds delicious! I'm definitely going to try this with other frozen fruit. I have some peaches in the freezer right now and I'm sure those will be wonderful, too!

I was undecided about making it at first but after my first taste, I was hooked! I'm going to be trying the same recipe with other frozen fruits, too. I'm sure they will also be wonderful!
