Sunsets are the symbol of new beginnings. If the sun does not set a new day will neither begin nor is there any hope for change. I love watching sunrises and sunsets.. there is something magical about them. It happens so fast and the magic dissipates in minutes but imprints of the magic lies deep in our minds and hearts.
The warmth of watching a sunrise and the cool of watching a sunset seems to set the mood for the remaining hours of the day. The rays of the sun bring life and hope to all living creatures. I visit a home for the elderly often and its a very common sight to see all the elderly people bring their chairs out and sit in the garden enjoying the morning sun. One elderly woman told me that it that the sun warms the cockles of her heart and the marrows in her bones.
Do you enjoy sunrise and sunsets?

I have a loving relationship with sunsets and sunrises. My late father had a collection of pictures of both. So he is remembered for those, among other things of course.

@sofssu I was thinking about taking a bunch of pictures of the same thing like sunsets or sunrises and put them together and see what image would come up i am not sure but kind of like a collage. I think the multitude of colors would make it look really.

Yes I do. Back in my teenage days, sunrise symbolises the time to meet my friends and sunrise was the time to say goodbye.

I like both ... but rarely see either.... sunrise is too early for me... unless I am catching a flight... but we do have some nice sunsets.. which I can sometimes see from our flat... as the sun goes behind a local mountain range... and gives some lovely colour skies...

Yes, it is marvelous to witness the end of a day through the sunset, and the dawning of a new day through the sunrise. It has different meanings and interpretations to different people and nations. For a child, a sunset is a time to stop from outside activities. For an adult, it may mean a rest for his weary and troubled soul. For an old man or woman, it may mean another long agonizing night or a long day ahead. One of the good meaning I can give is that sunset illustrate that there is an end to everything under the sun. Sunset illustrate that no matter how dark the night, there is always a new day that comes, a new opportunity, a new beginning as you said, and a new life to enjoy or endure, whichever applies. I love these meanings.
