Problem installing apps.

Today. I received the iPhone that was promised to me by a friend. I already forgot about it as I was badly hurt by what he said. Then a friend of him handed me the iPhone while I was having my session.
Anyway, I am having issues downloading apps to the phone. It says "waiting" on the screen. Looks like it's trying to install or something which I'm not sure. This is the first time I use an apple product so I need to convince myself it is helpful.
Do you have issues about this? If you had experienced this please let me know how you fix it.

That's great news finally you have that phone. Sorry, but I haven't experienced such thing like you have encountered with your new phone. Hope it will fix very soon.

Maybe your data or internet is slow. Just wait and it will download completely. By the way, this discussion is triple posted. Maybe you have to delete the two.

If you have wifi it will save data to do updates only when connected to wifi. Apps have updates at times you can set it to notify you of what updates are available so you can decide if you even use the app to need it updated.

i'm glad he decided to send it as promised. i'm not techy. i ask my niece and nephew to help me. i got curious and searched it. here's what i got:

We use apple products and we are happy with them .. Maybe your friend passed it on to you because he is having the same problem .. lol, I know it's not nice to think that way, but why didn't he give it to you personally ? ..
