I'm not talking about the movie Home Alone I'm talking about my present condition. Its friday and I'm at home and for extra security I ask for lock me from outside to my family members, they will come soon. I have to do household works inside at home.

@SHOHANA I adore being home alone. Not ALL the time because I get scared and lonely easily lol but I do love when I have a chance of being alone for a little while!

@VivaLaDani13 Being alone is fine. BUT there is a BIG BUT here. If the electricity goes out unexpectedly which kind of hoe it happens here lol I literally RUN out the front doors into the verandah. Freak that I am, I keep my eyes peeled at the house and refuse to turn my back to it. I am prissy enough to not get up and go look for the candle or emergency lights, etc. If I have my phone with me then it is like a holy grail since it has the torch light. I am super scared of the dark.

@Daljinder awwww! No I get it! Not that we have had one in quite awhile but if I am in my room ( for example ) listening to music or watching TV or WHATEVER requires electricity and it suddenly cuts out, I go straight out to wherever my dad is so I'm not alone. If I am home alone then I will move to the front of the house to be closer to the front door just in case I need to escape from whatever monster I've created in my head lol

Why, is it not dangerous to have you locked from outside your home? You should just lock it inside and open the door when your family members come home.

Its a hassle for me, when i will stay at the bathroom for bath i can't open the door and that's why i allow them to lock. @acelawrites

I've been living alone for more than 5 years now. When I'm not working, I keep myself busy by doing chores.

I don't like to be locked from outside. I would feel like I am in jail. I better lock myself from inside but anyway, I love being alone. Stay safe Shohana. Allah is with you.

As a single guy working alone, I prefer to keep myself busy and that way I don't think of "alone' and other stuff. I just work till I get tired and then just sleep lol.

Ohh! That really sounds exciting(?), just out of inquisitiveness - why to lock the house from outside? Any curfew outside?

I would have thought that was dangerous - what if there was a fire and you couldn't get out?

@jaboUK that's why i stay away from cooking and in that case i can call my neighbors and i have deep faith in the help of my ALLAH.
