Why your disease seems fake to bosses?

I joined my office today after suffering from viral fever for last 5 days. Everyone asked about my well being as to whether I have recovered fully or still recovering. As a matter of fact I am still recovering. But, this did not find any coherence with my superior officer who some people refer to as Boss. He uttered straight on my face that I make fake excuses to avail leaves and that I do not look sick by looking at my face. I retorted that I have such a face that I do not look sick even if I am suffering from a disease but he was not to relent. Is this the case that once a person attains a superior post than yours he has right to reprimand you even if your case is genuine one??

You have more chances of getting to meet a fairy tale character than getting a nice boss.

It is just like that if horse use to make friendship with grass then how he feed himself.if boss starts doing sympathy on his/her employee then how he makes his work done timely. All starts doing excuses.
