While watching documentary known as The World at War(based on World War II) i noticed a strange thing, there was an American man praising Hitler. After some digging i found out that there were many outside Germany who praised Hitler, even citizens of those countries whom Nazis attacked. What was so special about Hitler i wonder? was it because Hitler did well to improve economy of Germany in early 1930s?

I am not sure if I can praise Hitler but in fairness with him he is not racist as he may seem,Yes he is very racist but only to Jews and Gypsies Yes he hates Jews but unlike Neo Nazis he actually dont hate Asians and Black people. One of his main alliance are the Japanese and he have some fascination with Asian culture. Also he praised an African American athelete in an olympic game before. He even shook his hand.

Thanks a lot for your response. I completely agree on the point of Hitler not hating Asians, however this information is new to me that he did not hate black people. In his autobiography Mein Kampf Hitler referred to Afro-Germans as “Rhineland b**tards", this is completely contradicting to him praising African American athlete, not surprising though, politicians are bipolar in general.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Good point, its weird indeed, although not surprising as Neo Nazis are known for living in denial and believing what suits them.

@grvdubey11 I believe it was pre-world war II when he praised an African American Athlete. He considered east Asians as Honorary Aryans. So it's weird that his fans AKA Neo-Nazi hates Asians.

The reason that many people outside of Germany liked Hitler, and some continue to idolize him, is that he attempted to rid the world of Jews. The people who loved him, and still love him, also hate Jews.

Thanks a lot for your response. Why people hated Jews at that time though? it was due to religious hatred or due to the economic factors like Jews were in a business of giving loans to people and lot of such people who were in debt of Jew businessmen wanted to get rid of their loan?

@grvdubey11 -- who can tell why anyone hates any group? Hitler blamed the Jews for the economic problems in Germany, and people bought it. He wasn't the only one: in the US, a businessman by the name of Henry Ford (as in, Ford Motor Company Henry Ford) did the exact same thing, vilifying the Jews so much that Hitler himself gave Ford an award. Even in the Bible (the book of Esther) people hated Jews, so it's nothing new...just sad and heartbreaking.

@FourWalls Sad and heartbreaking indeed. I saw a Nazi propaganda movie The Eternal Jew in which Jews were depicted as monsters. world was messed up during those days, even worse than medieval period of mass murdering and torture.

Maybe Hitler's action expressed what many people wanted to do but they didn't to do it.
I think his easy solution was to kill and kill. That's a lazy and obscene solution, to kill people you have problems with. Many people probably thought it was the best thing to do and the easiest thing to do.
They shared hate towards other groups of people and hate spreads like a fire in the forest.
Hitler could try to learn the good things from the groups of people that he didn't like, he could maybe make rules and regulations that are humane. He could maybe talk with representatives of the hated communities and find solutions.
If someone decides to kill a certain group of people who has some properties like certain IQ, certain flaws...He can present the pros for not having them around and some people will agree with him. He can brainwash many people with his ideology and get even more supporters, he will get legitimization to start killing. That's statistics, I guess.

The same reason why some Filipinos almost made Marcos win as Vice president.
