We can see it from the ocean park of Hong Kong and they are ok, since they really eats a lot of bamboo and need special care from so many experts all the time. I think the Kung Fu Panda movie is more fun though.

I don't like to see any animals in the zoo @wildlittlefan ; they should all be in their natural habitat. However at the rate man is going, (killing animals constantly) a zoo may be the only place where animals will still be safe.

Yes, it will be more safe place than in the wilderness because they are either hunt by the other animals or the hunters as well. However, freedom do have a price to pay and I guess that's the price in this fallen world. When God first created them, they didn't have to worry about food , nor would they killing each others or killed by men. But after the fall of Adam and Eve, everything changed. But someday everything will be restored again when Jesus comes back and it is getting near each and everyday.

The highlights for us are usually the giraffe and the stingrays. Our zoo lets visitors feed both of those animals, so we usually do that when we go there. Feeding the stingrays is a bit messy because they give you cups of raw fish heads and tails, but it's a lot of fun because you hold a piece of fish in your hand and they just swoop by, brush your hand, and suddenly the fish is gone.

I remember when I was a kid, my mother brought us to Manila Zoo for the first time. It was a surprise because my mother didn't tell us (me and my sister) that we were going to the zoo. The elepant is my favorite because it bring back good memories. Thank you for your post because of that I reminisce old special memories.

@wildlittlefan,Tigers,jackals,foxes and hyenas.The last time I had visited a zoo was two years ago.However I like to see these animals in a jungle,not in a zoo.

I went to the zoo not long ago it was extremely hot which almost made the trip not fun but otherwise it was like being a kid again. I saw mostly strange ugly animals there were a few though that I thought were cool like the turtles/tortoise with the huge shells.

I love to see the lion.there is a zoo near my city.i go there in every month end.
