Contentment may be interpreted and understood in different context. I read from Scripture that godly contentment is great gain. I made a search and I understood it as whatever your state might be physically and materially, you need to be content so as not to covet what others might have that you don't have. I learned further that contentment doesn't mean satisfied. I look at the ant who comes out of its house and do everything it can to bring what he can bring to its home before sunset. After it has done all its best, it is contented for what it has accomplished. Nevertheless, the ant is not satisfied so the next day, the ant again comes out and do everything it can to bring food to its place. It shows us a great lesson we can understand about contentment. The most important thing I learned is that when you have Jesus Christ in your heart, He is enough to satisfy your longing soul.

Welcome back, there have been that I haven't been but now I am and I think we all go through that and is part of life. I think you have to figure out what it is you want, what makes you happy and do what you need to get there and not worry about what others may say or feel. I know that use to be a big part of my problem is worrying about what others thought all the time.
