Mentally, physically and emotionally drain.
That has been my week .
So many.paper works to be finish, then a surprise call from the commission on audit.made.me really, oh nose, flat nose.
An exit.conference. Though i expect but not in short period.
Okay, didn't keep.any government fund, i won't. Haha.
Their findings were.more on like "in transit". Meaning payments were made past of the month but not late.
So, justified reason. Yey!
But someone made.me felt that..yeah, why he can not just take the responsibility instead, has thrown me out of the bus?
Should have shared here that "moment" here.but thanks to the fast internet *insert sarcasm*, i didn't.
All in all, thanks to those private messages that.some.sent me, asking how am i doing.
I am.still.alive and kicking!
By the way...have you been good? Lol

The COA can sent shivers down the spine of government employees. You're on pins and needles waiting for the audit that clears you of any malversation. No wonder you are physically and emotionally drain. Is it a random audit or are you audited regularly? Well, the worse part is over and like you said, you're still alive and kicking.

but do they audit specific employees or the whole department/office? it seems reine was expecting another employee should have been with her.

When I am still a white collar corporate guy I did. Now I live in a farm, I don't feel like in a rat race anymore. I also have employees to take care of things. I am less high maintenance now because I have employees that I can trust., Sometimes when I feel like it, I join the employees with the killing of crocodiles and ostriches. You know I am in the meat and leather business now.

@josie_ I can describe their taste since I own the business. Ostrich tasted like beef but less salty. Any beef recipes can work with it minus the cholesterol. it's fat actually have healing properties so they were used for some Australian lotion brand.
Crocodiles tasted like lobster. So yeah they were nothing like the political counterpart. In Some Crocodile eating American states they call it poor man's lobster.
Alligator is a mix between chicken and pork.

@CaptAlbertWhisker _I have never tasted Ostrich meat or crocodile meat for that matter. However I've heard that crocodiles (buwaya) of the political kind have rather tough skins and faces (kapal mukha)

@Lucky15 Hmmm... I am not sure about the tough and soft, Reine.... I would say very cute, but that might just make your head blow up like a balloon, so maybe I shouldn't tell you something like that!

After the exit conference, you exit from your job too?

I am willing to bet not, Sunrise Fan! Her company needs to keep her around for next tax season! You don't think whoever shoved all the blame off on her will want to accept it any more readily next time than they did this one, do you?
That is Reine's job security!

I am sorry, Reine! I haven't been here much this past week (roughly) either. So much so that I didn't realize you were having a difficult week! I would have checked on you had I not been gone myself!
I am honestly not sure exactly what your post said, hon. We both speak English, but sometimes our meaning cross on us.
This is your end-of-year-tax-season, right?
You said it took everything you had in you to get the taxes figured, and then you were contacted for an audit, right? Something in your paperwork didn't appear correct?
You paid your taxes past the due date, but not past the date the taxes would be counted late? OH! They thought you had kept the taxes, but they were just sent in past the due date! LOL!
Uhm.... someone threw you under the bus? (Not out of the bus, unless that literally happened. If he pushed the responsibility all onto you when he should have been the one blamed or shared the blame, then he shoved you under the bus.)
And I take it your internet service was up to its usual tricks, huh, which didn't really help you by letting you scream about the injustice to us on myLot...! LOL!
Okay, if I got that semi-correct, then it sounds like you aren't going to jail.... yet, for cheating your government out of their share of your money..... again... I mean, you would never do that, right?

@Lucky15 I wouldn't bet as to which of us confused the other one more, hon!
I was trying to figure out what you were saying in your post and writing out what I thought you said. Did I not even get close to what you meant?
