It seems america has run a muck. And I see that as wrong. I hate that the right side is bashing all Muslims and calling them terrorists. I hate that the right is also bashing all Mexicans and calling them murderers. That is sick thinking. I agree with you. Just because of a few bad people, they bash an entire race of people. Like Obama says, we need to band together to fight this and become one. Otherwise nothing will ever get better.

Then how do we deal with the fear that the nice man next door could be a terrorist? That's what they said about the guy in San Bernardino. I know what you are saying and desire a perfect world but....

We just don't fear him. If he's a nice guy, he probably really is a nice guy. The media is so very skilled at making us suspicious of everyone. EVERYONE! It's no wonder people are on edge when they're told they have to be suspicious and paranoid about anything and everything!

To really see a person for who he/she really is it´s necessary to interact personally and very closely with him/her. Prejudices involve generating a general ideas about a culture and social group without taking into consideration the ideas of an individual.

I am good with anyone, religion, lifestyle, colour whatever, so long as they don't push their beliefs or lifestyles on me. I think that since for the most part, it is still a free world, and we should all be allowed to live safely and practise what we believe in. I see you as a great sensitive writer who usually has some great tales to tell, I don't categorize you into anything further. And should I, or anyone?

I think people such as you and how open you are can help change the way people think about gays. To us, to me, you're just a nice guy who bakes bread for the homeless, loves life and is happy.

I'm all for everyone being exactly who they are. I have no crow to pick with anyone, religious, non religious, gays, different nationalities, transgender. I wish every one happiness.
