I have never ever made one.Today was a raining and cool day.
Did not want to hang out in my chair. So I decided to do it.
The pie I use wild blueberry coming out from our neighboring state of Maine.
what is the difference with wild and cultured.Well for me it is the taste of nature.
cultured I believe they use many chemical but not sure.
Also the wild the berries are small and not as big as the cultured ones.
The crust is made by Pillsbury.Do not make mine own.Just fill in the pie and away we go.I put and gather my blueberries.Ad the sugar, eggs,a bit of flour
pinch of nutmeg etc.The tasting will be tonight.
my next one maybe is peach?
Any pie maker here?
Not sure if the photo will come out.May have to resize it.Will see.

My mother is the pie maker but not many many years. She used to make peach and apple pies for my father. From total scratch pie crust and all.

@amadeo yes carmel apple pie. The carmel and apple are together inside the pie, it is so good.

The photo is perfect and how did you know this is my favorite pie? I'm not able to have it often enough as my husband prefers cherry or apple and we don't need lots of pies in the house for either of us. He's made many apple pies before. I made one blueberry from picked ones, I think, but that was back in the seventies. Haven't made any pies since.

@amadeo Too busy mostly and if I make them , then I will eat them and the weight it took twenty years to get rid of will show up before I know it, so I refrain from doing much baking. My husband should also refrain.

I love blueberries but I have never had a blueberry pie. I don't care for fruits once they have been baked or warmed up. To me fruits should never be warm.
