What is your standard in choosing and getting a car of your own? / myLot

There are varieties of brands of cars. Everyone has his own preference for his favorite brand, its style, its function, its appearance, etc. Well, today my son got his favorite brand--Mercedes Benz C180L, which, I think, is no cheap at all, rather expensive. He loves its functions and brand of all. After all that is paid including car insurance and so on, it cost three hundred, sixty thousand RMB, much more expensive than that of mine, Best Turn, a demestic brand car, which works perfectly. I love Best Turn for its cheap price as well as its functions, etc. What is your favorite car brand and standard in choosing and getting a car? Thank you for sharing your ideas in advance.

Some people are very particular about the car they choose. I just like a car that will get us from A to B in some sort of comfort.

I've never bought a brand new car in my life. I like a smallish car - as long as it gets me where I want to go reliably, that's all I ask.

I need a Van. My all time favorite is the Dodge Caravan. I've had many over my life, all Dodges and all Caravans. I use them to move my art and craft to stores, to carry my set up for art and craft shows and It carries a ton of things when I go camping. When its empty it just a car...sort of...
