I recently graduated from a Bible School, and i cannot forget in a hurry what one of my Lecturer Pastor that took us on Principles of Answered Prayers said, he said that the only time you can said that you have prayed is when you have the evidence to show that your prayer have being answered, so what he is implying in other words, is that you cannot said you have prayed when the issue or what you asked or demanded for have not yet being delivered to you, So when we pray for something have faith believing that we have received answers already and we shall have our heart desires satisfied by God. Remember also that we should pray according to Gods will, Bible speaking in 1 John 5:14, and i quote "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us" so friends i then ask do prayer really changes things? if what this my Pastor Lecturer said is something to take home, that you can say you have prayed when the evidence is there to speak for itself, it then means you can also influence things with prayers, it worked for me and i know it can work for you also.

I believe unless you are going to put in some hard work to go with that prayer then nothing is going to happen. If you want something you have to work on it. You can't just expect something to happen if you don't want to work for it or earn it. People in college pray they will have good grades and pass their exams but only a few of them actually put in the study time to get those good grades and to pass.

I completely agree with you sir! especially when you are praying for souls to be birthed into Gods kingdom, Matthew 6:33 said seek you first the kingdom of God and it's righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you, oh! what a cheap way to get your prayers answered.

Thank you sir for that conclusion, bible speaking in James 1:6 says "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind".

Respectful, heartfelt prayer works when we ask and speak things according to God's will and purpose.....He has promised to take care of our needs and at times God even blesses us with some of our wants. I have seen over and over the power of prayer (communication with God), concerning me and my husband's daily life, especially with my husband has his prayers to Jehovah God been answered over and over.

Prayer works! It takes time but it always works. In my case there was a time when my husband was not in a very good state, he used to drink, he was mean and I was ready to let him go. I decided to pray, I did this everyday. I asked God to help him stop drinking, help him to see the better things in life, and make him happy, help him to be a better man. I did this for over a year, and one day my husband says to me "I'm tired of drinking, and being this way, I really do want to change." I was both shocked and happy. Mostly shocked because God answered my prayer. So YES, prayer changes everything. My husband is now a fully changed and happy man, and has been sober 4 years now.

The matter is that when we pray asking for something we wish, some might not be answered by God or, at least, not at that way we wished. When this happens, it doesn't mean that He didn't answered, but maybe He things that even if we wish something, it might not be the best for us. God knows better than ourselves what we really need and what's the best for us. What do you think about it?

Benjamin, I received this Pic on Whatsapp a few months back and it actually generated a lot of questions in my Mind.
I've been thinking about the same thing that Do Prayers actually change something?
I would just like to speak from my own personal experience here. As I've seen Universe working things out for me. I've got hints & some personal experiences.
I have heard many people say that you are to move your hands if wish to access something. Only you are supposed to move your legs, if you wish to reach somewhere. You have to put in efforts, if you wish to accomplish something etc. etc. etc.
However, heard from many other Spiritual teachers, and people that God / Tao / Source / Universe does everything. He is the only one who does everything. A thing can't move without his Will.
And I have seen that Prayers (Must come directly from Heart) can actually change & do everything for you. Prayers will make you work. Prayers will bring you some ideas / thoughts, prayers will convert your thoughts into feelings, feelings into actions, actions into results. So, if you see this whole process, your EGO will say that Prayers didn't do anything, rather I did it myself. But so untrue. Prayers are the Base, they enable & allow you to work towards your goals / results.
So, the point is: Yes, Indeed, Prayers can really Change Things. Pray with you Heart, without Greed, by putting your EGO aside and everything will fall into its place.
Thanks & Stay Blessed :)
