Why Some People Listen to the Same Songs Over and Over

Why are some people love to listen to the same song over and over? It could be so irritating to others who can hear it; one can memorize the lyrics already!
When I have favorite songs, I just listen to it once in a while. They could had just use an earphone so others will not be annoyed.
The same is true when neighbors love to sing in karaoke/videoke in full blast. Good thing there is a law banning it after 10 p.m. here in the Philippines. Just to give peace to those who wanted to sleep early.

Oh my, I'm guilty. We call this LSS or last song syndrome. We cannot just help it but to listen to the song over and over again.

I can listen to some music over and over like I can't get enough of it. The urge subsides after awhile.

@acelawrites Not many people sound good singing along with headsets on. I can sing but I'm not sure too many people would be thrilled to hear me.

Same here, I want it in soft volume, then I play it after some time when I remember it or want to have that "me" moment.

It is common for kids; and so we adults also memorize the lyrics of the cartoon's theme songs.
