No, people don;t really use clotheslines here. Besides they feel rough when hung outside. I do throw some of the clothes out on the deck rail sometimes though.

That's true. Hubby often complains if I hang his jeans to dry. But they soften up after you put 'em on.
They smell good, though!

Everyday I do our laundry to prevent from pilling up, we dont have a dryer and washing machine always handwash but for the pants and blanket always send them to the laundry shop once a week.

Once a week if I can help it. If I have to do twice a week I try to make the load as light as possible. I hope you can get a new dryer at a good price soon then. It's not fun to have to deal with a dryer that doesnt' work properly.

I don't think a new dryer is in the cards,,but I am trying to get a handyman here to fix it.
