What avocado recipes have you made before?

Yesterday, my brother brought a dozen of long mature avocados from my avocado tree. Well, the avocados are mine as the land where the avocado tree grows is mine. I seldom have the chance to eat my avocado fruits as I am mostly living in Germany when the avocado season comes.
Anyway, the avocados have to ripen first. They were harvested although they were not ripe yet as the fruits might fall on the grown and become rotten. Now, I am thinking of what to do with the fruits besides eating them just without anything. I am thinking of making avocado ice cream. Have you tried making avocado ice cream?
By the way, the text in the photo is my first attempt of adding texts to my photos using Phonto. Thanks @LadyDuck for the tips.

I love your photo and the fact that you have your own avocado trees. I love them, but just make guacamole, slice them in eggs and salads, or use them on hamburgers. I did use a recipe once, which I forgot how to make without looking it up. They were stuffed and broiled quickly.

yepperz, i make a chocolate shake'f sorts outta almond milk, avocado, dark cocoa powder, vanilla extract, frozen naner 'n honey. also put half'n avocado'n my fruit/veggie smoothie. gives a texture 'kin to a light mousse? if'n ya freeze such, more like an elegant sorbet :)

I missed the text t first viewing on your photo. Nice job indeed. Anna, has many good tips for all.
I've never heard of avocado ice cream before and I'm not sure that I'd like it. But, I would be willing to try it out. Did your brother bring these all the way to Germany from the Philippines, or do you have a tree growing there where you're currently living?
I like them with refried beans and all the makings for a taco salad or something similar. I best quit talking about that right now, though, since I can't eat anything today. I don't want to make myself hungry.

@thelme55 Around here they add avocado to various types of sandwiches, but many of us eat Mexican cuisine almost weekly and those that enjoy avocados will add them to about anything I think, but especially their Mexican foods.

I am in vacation at my house in the Philippines. My brother is living nearby where I live now for a few months and the avocado tree is just 3 kilometers away from my house.
I have not tried avocado with refried beans and with taco. I would love to try that if given a chance. Now I am getting hungry, too @MarshaMusselman

You have an avocado tree. I am going to try to grow one. I have my seeds. I have heard of avocado ice cream. In fact, I have a recipe for it. How do you keep the trees? Because I see that you have that you are in Germany. It gets cold there. Do you keep them outside in the summertime and bring them in, in the winter time?

You are welcome Thelma. I love the avocados, I usually make guacamole, or I serve them with shrimps and a vinaigrette sauce. I have not yet tried to make avocado ice cream, but I have a recipe that I would like to try. Today I have made watermelon ice cream, we are going to have it after dinner.

@simone10 maybe there is an avocado ice cream sold in your supermarket. If, not you can make it yourself. Just mash the avocado meat and add condensed milk and double cream. Blend them together. Put it in a bowl with a cover and put it in the freezer for a few hours or overnight. Then you have ice cream. Yummy!

Nice avocado fruit. Yes, I make avocado smoothie; but I like to eat it plain and just a little honey.

I also like the avocado plain without anything. Sometimes, I make a smoothie with it or ice cream @acelawrites .

I've seen some great recipes using avocados on Swagbucks videos. Guacamole being a number of them and the different ways to make it. There were also a number of great salads using avocados.
