My mom literally saved me from myself. How is that possible? Well many years ago in the late 1980s I discovered that I had a polyp on my ovaries. Mom had had this problem when she was young and therefore had miscarried. After her operation she was able to have me. Anyway in modern times it could all be taken care of by a simple, one day laser surgery. So no worries, right? Well not if you are a nervous person like me. I just need to find out I have something wrong with me and I freak out. At that time I was married to my first husband, working in New York City and my mom and my husband didn’t get along at all. We were trying to have a baby so that was when the polyp was found. A combination of work stress and personal stress in my life was like a time bomb waiting to go off. I became the unhappy victim of anxiety attacks. Suddenly my life turned around completely. I couldn’t go anywhere by myself and when I was alone I had cold sweaty hands and feet and a feeling like I was at death door. Having to go to work I started popping Xanax tablets. Those days to get them prescribed I had to go to a psychologist. I don’t believe in those kinds of things and when the doctor asked me to pretend I was my mom she totally lost me. Stopping the visits to the psychologist also meant no Xanax. In between I lost my job and then mom took over. I spent a great many of my days with her and she brewed up a really strong batch of Valerian root tea. That tea not only calmed me down but it also put me to sleep. As time passed my nerves calmed down and soon my anxiety attack were a thing of the past thanks to mom and her tea. Photo of mom and me

Simplest thing in the world. A one day laser operation and nothing more @Sol_cee

It's great even for trouble sleeping in either tea form or tablet form @Hatley and all natural.
