I just looked at my e-mails and found three very exciting ones all related to my book - Scarred that will be coming out in second edition soon.
Soon is the word. We're working out the final details for it. They want to have it available by the 27th of this month in time for Art Street - an event that takes place in Green Bay before the beginning of the school year. Art Street is where artists from all over, and I've seen them from as far away as Louisiana, come to ply their wares. So it looks like I will be part of Art Street this year with my book - Scarred. I can't wait until it's finished and in my hands again.
Excitement is in the air.
Do you have any exciting news? Thanks for reading.

We just got a day and a half of the rain that went through La. It was a nice, gentle rain for the most part and did wonders for the lawns and gardens I'm sure. Hopefully you got some of that same rain, Crazy too?

We have a art festival called Art in the Park. Great artists from all over the US come for this one. Good luck! Hope it all goes well for you and your book.
Is your book in your name? The one you use here?

Will you be viewing the book before it's completed? I didn't realize that 4rv did just that until a month or so ago. When the editor-in-chief has it layed out with the illustrations and such, then the author and then the lead editor and up the line take a look at it to make sure nothing was missed as far as typos and related things.
If we'd not done that, the wrong story would have been published as there was a change in the leadership in the middle and they had the incorrect final clean copy. We're still waiting for the draft with the correct edit to see how that went.
I hope there are no glitches in your book so you can sell many at that art street later on.

I'm hoping I have the move completed before then so I have nothing to worry about as I'm enjoying my first real book signing.

Hearty Congrats!!! I can understand how excited you must be to have a second edition out. I have a budding writer at home and each time she writes something, all of us are so happy to be her audience and share in her joy of having created something. For me personally, a writer is an artist who weaves magic with words. Wishing you the very best & hope you have great sales of the book :-)
