I did it! I finally finished reading my book "Titan " by Ron Chernow.
This biography has tons of details that makes the book going on for ever. As a matter of fact, the book has about 700 pages. It is difficult to hold the book while lying down, so i had to sit in bed
in order to read it.
John D. Rockefeller is the first billionaire in the world and an icon in the business world.
I think I learned enough in this biography about John D. Rockefeller. At the end of the book, it even talks a bit about his descendants.
Today, I have to get a new book, otherwise tonight I might have to reread an old book from my bookcase.
I had read "Alexander Hamilton" bio by the same author and was impressed by his talents.
I hope i can find his book about the Morgan family today. The House of Morgan is the title.

I made it to the library 3 minutes to late today so I couldn't borrow any movies. I assume you like biographies? I am reading the last book in the Divergent series now "Four" by Veronica Roth.

I just studied about the life of John D. Rockefeller whose billions did not give him great gain because later in his life he was quoted to have said "I have made many millions and they have all brought me no happiness." He also said, "The poorest man I know is the man who has nothing but money."

@marlina The book sounds interesting. I seldom read biography as I think they're boring. You must have a lot of books at home. I wonder how do you store them?

Just because a book is a heavy read doesn't mean it isn't worth wading through. I've read a few that were tough like that but I learned so much along the way.

I haven't read too many biographies in a few years, I tend to read books that can;t be real, the escape helps me cope

The Rockefeller family has drifted out of the limelight. The last two prominent ones were governors Nelson and Winthrop in 60s/70s.
