why TV is too much popular?

We know everyone is having TV in home. I need to say that how only TV became more sooner popular other than radio, newspaper, magazines,etc. Let's find out reasons.

Tv is more advance that tv, newspapers, etc. I think its hard to invent things in the past.

TV is losing its importance now. Laptops and smart phones are becoming more popular than TV. In my house, everyone is very much addicted to smartphone.
