I am currently very, very scared. I just lost my transcription job. It was for not being, "Accurate" and I am not exactly sure as to what I was not accurate with, but I have lost the only well paying job that I had. I am so scared because I know how to pay two bills and also part of the rent. Nothing around this area is hiring for things that I am able to do. I am very scared and I feel so sick. I am shaking and there is nothing I can do right now. I'm sorry to come back on such a pity me, sob story, but I am genuinely terrified.

Unfortunately, there is no a lot that I am able to do. I am not qualified for a lot and I do not have the experience or the ability to do so. But thank you anyway.

That is scary. I tried medical transcription for awhile years ago. I hadn't been trained well, though, it was way too much for me!
I'm wondering if you have a place you could go, to move in with a relative or a friend in order to find a job again. It sounds like you may need to relocate to an area with more opportunities. Sometimes all it takes is a little help so that you don't have to feel so insecure while you get back on your feet. You might also check out apprenticeships to learn a different skill.

I am living with my boyfriend and there is no way we can just move in with someone since we are out here on our own. I was trained in 15 minutes and they have other people grading. Some people graded fairly and others are so brutal. I do not want to move because well, 1. We can't and 2. i love this place.

@infatuatedbby I got a not really a warning but a "hey you might want to be careful, next time you do this you will get your warning" so it was like a pre warning. And then boom fired.

"Not being accurate" enough. they have non professionals editing the transcripts. It is really biased and unfair.

I literally JUST lost this job and I have a right to dwell on it. I am upset because this was the only actually good thing that was going on in my life.

@DesirousDreamer Without money whether we own a company or just need to support ourselves need to roll back and watch our cash flow wisely. For me that has become a way of life but you are young and who knows all the good things in the future that might come your way.

@Bluedoll It is truly terrifying. I am normally really good with money. The only expense I do is ordering food because it is so hard to get to the store.

That is very true. Sadly, the goal I want takes a while and I kind of need money in the mean time to actually do it.

If you have skills in sewing, cooking, babysitting, taking in laundering, etc., for a fee. Also, ask friends, family, associates to keep their eyes and ears open to job offers and job fairs.

I have been looking for babysitting jobs and no one is looking at the moment. I do have sewing skills and thinking of doing some cross stitch stuff, but that also takes time and money, i do not have that much floss and adia cloth goes out fast. Ugh. the pain.

@itslikethistome My body could not handle walking dogs. I am going to do some art and perhaps someone will buy my stuff.

@DesirousDreamer What about walking peoples dogs if they're not to big for a fee? Or putting out peoples garbage to the street on garbage day? Maybe you can make some flyers and mail a few out to designated homes.....Maybe you can offer to plant flowers in peoples gardens of front lawn?

Do you do many online sites? Was this an online job? Someone on another site was talking about Scribie which is a transcription site but I don't know much about it. They should give you a more detailed reason as to what you did wrong or else how can you improve.

I think, 'not being accurate' is pretty self-explanatory. That could be a problem for whoever you were working for.

Well, the fact that they barely told me what I needed to work on it kind of unfair.

What type of transcribing do you do? I'm sorry about the temporary loss. I'm sure there'll be more openings you could apply to. I pray for peace of mind, and a job for you soon. Hugs ...

You have a reason to be scared and to worry. However, I know that you can find a solution to the situation you are in. You are in a blessed country where lots of opportunities are available. What you need to do is to choose which one is best suited to what you need. It may not be the perfect one you want, but as of the moment of drastic solutions, it's what you need. Find a network marketing company and start to earn immediately. I know you can even surpass the income you used to receive and more. I hope and pray you can find one.

You might need to looklook into or file an EEO on the company that let you go. Anyone who is terminated from a job without being fully given the specific reasons why they were let go is illegal. "Vague" reasons are unacceptable. This company should have told you what it is that you were not "accurate" in so that you could make improvements. I wish you the best and I hope you find a better job than the last. Until then, do every thing possible to get a job, even if its working at a fastfood place etc.
