I am going to share a few more of my dad's paintings today. For those of you who missed the first few, go back to the Space Shuttle and move forward. The one of the Space Shuttle, is the first one I posted.
This one is a painting that my dad did of the USS Saratoga naval ship, based out of Mayport, Florida. It was used as a short runway, for planes to land and/or take off. The details are amazing. Again... I never tire of looking at his work.

@inertia4 - I do... But for some reason...never had an interest in following in his footsteps. I like writing more than drawing and painting.

Reproduction??? It is just a picture of the original. I have to admit, the resolution is not as good with this one, but this is not a reproduction. Unless, you are calling the photo we took, a reproduction.

@teresatrotter Yes I meant the photo of the original painting that you can look at. Even with the resolution here though I can appreciate the work. I like paintings how they capture something too that the artist displays on canvas. Even though it is a painting can see the ship sailing across the water.
