Many people enjoy reggae music not only because of the sound but because of the lyrics. No doubt, the words from many songs performed by the late Bob Marley {Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley, OM (1945 – 1981)} is the reason he enjoyed and still enjoys such immense popularity. Even though this song was released in 1973, the words are so applicable, it could have been released today! "We don't we need no mo' trouble." Rappers did their version of this song as a tribute. It was OK. The original is irreplaceable.

Bob Marley's music is just transcendent. He was definitely taken far too soon.

Marley sang lyrical wisdom.

@cmoneyspinner - I'm doing well, been on a temp assignment that lasted several months, so a bit busy. I'm taking a break now, though.

@AliCanary - Those temp jobs really come in handy don't they? The best temp job I ever had, lasted a whole year. I worked for the City of Austin Public Works Department. I so hoped that it would turn into a permanent gig. But that didn't happen. It was fun while it lasted and a very positive work experience. Great management and co-workers. Fine people. All of them!

Bob Marley quoted the Bible a lot in his song lyrics. That's a scripture. But it's OK. The people who penned the Bible never sued anybody for copyright infringement.

It's one of my favorite Bob Marley songs.
