Maybe he was asking because he will employ you in a higher position than just arranging merchandise; it can be a business degree he is looking for to help in his business.

Maybe they need a college degree for it. there are some stores that in their qualifications you need to have a college degree..

Personally I think it is crazy to need a degree to work in retail or a restaurant, but looking in my classified section of my local newspaper I see it stating that quite a bit lately for those jobs. I told my husband that is bad when you are going to have to pay for an education to flip burgers or sell merchandise. SMH
