Tententenen!!! Presenting.....yours truly and your majesty.....myLot Prince!!
(audience: Hail!!!)
I just want to say that.....no matter what our country are struggling for, I am just proud of being a Filipino. Imagine, we have one of the slowest internet speed in the world! That's very nice! Not only that, Philippines is one of the most corrupt Asian countries! Our country deserves a medal!
But I want you to finish reading this post....
I am not mentioning those negative things to destroy the image of my beloved country. In fact, I am announcing this to let you know that in 6 years time, these two i mentioned together with bigger problems we are facing, are going to change....for the better. I can smell it, i feel it, i want to see it
I just admire our newly elected president....haaayst
By the way, if that won't happened, I will cut fingers.......of our neighborhood! Joke! Hahaha
You? Are you proud of being *insert your nationality here*?

Prince! Hey, one of my favorite songs is "Let's Go Crazy" - oh wait - that's another Prince of the purple kind !
I will say I do love my Filipino friends . . . they are the most generous and friendliest people around!
I have to question your President at times . . . but then, soon we will be questioning ours !
I was born in the US, yes I'm proud to be American. My ethnicity is Japanese as you know . . . and I can also say I'm proud to be Japanese-American!

Adam, I really hope that what you envision happening in a few years has already begun to take shape! I wish only the best for you and your country!
As for being proud of my country, I can honestly say.... I WAS proud of being an American... I believe this country has had it's share of problems, but the American people pull together and find a way to overcome those problems...
After seeing what two people who call themselves patriots of the United States have done/have shown the world/have shown their fellow Americans... I can honestly say this country is in the worst trouble we have ever faced!

@trivia79 I'm afraid stupidity happened to my country, Adam... Those of us who should have pushed decades ago to stem some of the corruption in our government sat idly by while the ignorant masses voted themselves more bread and circuses... i.e. they voted in career politicians who gave them money for nothing, so the masses kept doing it... and the politicians kept doing it... until now, all we have are corrupt politicians who throw away our tax money on worthless things and know they can keep doing it because the great unwashed will keep voting people just like them into office!
Hillary and Trump are part of the problem, not part of the solution we need!
Yeah, we have millions of better candidates for President... but none of those millions carried the day, so we are stuck between a rock and a hard place. SMH!
No, we vote on Tuesday, November 8... but our votes don't matter. The Electoral College votes on the President and Vice-President of the U.S. They are the ones who decide who our President will be, not the common man here. We effectively have no vote here.
"The meeting of the electors takes place on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December after the presidential election. The electors meet in their respective states, where they cast their votes for President and Vice President on separate ballots."
What the rest of the world sees is not us electing our President. They see a popularity vote, which means nothing in the big scheme of things. Only the votes the electors cast count for anything.

I am always proud that i am a Filipino , and will always be . I know , we really can achieve that if our President will continue what he is doing with regards to drigs , criMes and now our economy. I hope he will also take a look at the salaries of employees inthe private sector which has no across the board increase for the past many years .

@trivia79 I couldn't get myself to vote for duterte despite watching ALL of the debates. I don't know why, I mean he was no different to Gordon except for the way du30 speaks during election. But in the end, I know it was Poe's fault why he didn't win. as for du30 I think he's okay doing what's right but as we can see there are consequences, like innocent people getting killed.

I am proud no matter what nationality I am in. Some can guess I am real Filipino and some will mistaken me as a foreigner. If they know I am a Filipino then I will say I am proud to be a Filipino. If they say I am American, then I will say I am proud to be American.

Pinay here. Isn't it ironic though that even we have the slowest internet speed, Filipinos are always online, doing every online job, actively participating in every online votations, being visible in the social media, and just about anywhere. I say we rock the world in our own little way.

I am British and although I mix a lot with other cultures I do find a lot to be proud of. Here a person with British nationality gets free health care and I am so grateful for that. Our land is also more varied and beautiful than many realise. We may moan about things but I can worship freely and have freedom of speech and it is hard to starve. I can wear what I want and while our justice is not perfect it is kinder than many places. I have travelled in many countries and it makes me realise what the British had. That includes free education and courses and fast Internet.
